We looked out some of the most fattening foods you have to try and avoid on the long summer days and maintain that summer weight loss feel.

weight-loss-summerIce Cream, that summer treat, there’s nothing better than walking on the shore front with a cone in your hand, full of weight gaining calories try not to eat too many. Late night drinks, everybody loves the hot weather after a day at work what’s better than sitting down in the warm evening with a glass of your
favourite tipple.

Salads, often associated with the Summer and diets, just watch what you put in it, vegetables are great but watch out for the sauces and dips which are loaded with calories. Try and use Light mayonnaise and find low calorie sauces for dips. BBQs, hot Summer weather ‘Lets have a barby’ every ones favourite sausages, beef burgers, cheese all between two slices of bread, tut tut…

Take away food, with a few drinks you cant be bothered to cook so its off to the local take away. Fish and Chips, no trip to the beach is complete with out our favourite seaside dinner. Loaded with calories then there’s the extra curry sauce, gravy and extra salt, just what the doctor ordered. Fizzy pop, kids always shouting they are thirsty just watch what you give them, try to give then diluted juice or water. Too much fizzy pop not good for them in later life. Tortilla wraps, these delicious snacks are often filled with chicken, cheese, salsa sauce, sour cream all in a flour wrap. Very fattening.

We don’t want to take any enjoyment out of your Summer, just watch what you are eating and look and feel great.
