Loosing the Extra Pounds

In the winter months we tend to eat far too much through boredom, Summer is nearly here so you decide to go on a diet. Just looking at the TV, magazines and internet there are thousands of different diet pills, drinks and machines to help you loose that extra weight. Which do I pick? Who do I see? What is best for me?

These are all questions that you may ask yourself. When you look at diets try to see if there is one that you can carry on with, so many people give up in the first week saying it was too hard, it was the wrong type for me and so on, remember you only have to cut down on the food that you normally eat to loose weight. If you want to loose a lot of weight it would be advisable to see your GP who will refer you to the nutritionist, again you can talk over all the weight loss options which are available to you.

loosing-weightAfter a few weeks you will start to notice a difference, but what about your ‘beer belly’ that ‘spare tyre’? Men and women alike find this the hardest part to loose the fat from. What is the best way to do this? The best way is exercise, exercise, exercise the diet is working now its time to get your lazy body off the couch and do something, sit-ups are great for loosing the fat, start off by doing a couple then add one on every day soon the beer belly will be disappearing.

If you join a gym ask the instructor about cardio exercise theses are probably the best for achieving that flat stomach. A good point to remember is that ’belly’ fat is one of the hardest to remove, so there is no point in loosing all your weight if you are just going to start eating unhealthy again. Loosing weight is about a change of lifestyle.
