Clothes starting to feel tight, feel as if we are eating too much and Summer just around the corner. So making the decision to go on a diet is not an easy one, we think about it for weeks before taking the first steps and tell the one closest to you, whether it be husband, wife or best mate, we are just looking for that little bit of encouragement. So what a ‘kick in the teeth’ when they all do the same thing, laugh, and say “you will never stick to it”.

Squeezing Into Those Summer Clothes

What a great few days we have had, temperature hitting high 70s, Britain was the place to be this weekend, I for one was in a happy mood, the kids were up and playing happily (for once), we had organized a BBQ for family and friends. Saturday morning we were up early, cut the grass, cut the hedge, the women were busy preparing food and everything else, as we cleaned the swimming pool and got it filled.

Ever started a diet then gave up after the first week, like the vast majority of people I have, why does this happen? You get ready for the diet ’starting on Monday’, on Sunday night you write down your meals for the week, calorie counting every meal making sure you don’t go over by even 0.5 calorie. You awake on Monday morning have your breakfast, doing well!! So you start to watch the clock “when’s my next meal?” How come when you do a diet you are always hungry? Well I am. Is it because I am on a diet or am I really hungry? Do you know that some foods actually make you feel hungry? There is some interesting facts about food that I didn’t know here are just a few.
